Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime Fountain City Elementary family, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.
This is a central hub for students and families to easily access information for navigating the school and school day, including enrollment, student handbooks, information about schedules, extracurricular activities, and more!
Enrollment
Fountain City Elementary serves almost 400 students in Kindergarten- 5th Grade.
Enrollment for students who are new to the district must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.
There are no resources or collections to display
Daily Schedule
At Fountain City Elementary, the school day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. on regular school days.
On 1/2 Days, Dismissal is at 11:15 a.m.
Students must attend for at least 3.5 hours to be counted present for the day.
After School Care
Kids Place is our on-site after-care provider.

Extracurricular Activities
Fountain City Elementary offers several after-school and extracurricular opportunities. Through these clubs and others, students have the opportunity to expand their classroom learning, get to know peers with similar interests, and explore new skills.
Student Supports
The entire staff of Fountain City Elementary is committed to establishing an atmosphere in which children will feel safe, secure, and happy so they can maximize their opportunities to learn and achieve. The school has a trained counselor and social worker on staff.
Library / Media Center
Our library is a hub for student learning, reading, and discovery. In addition to the school library, teachers may maintain individual collections of age-appropriate books in their classrooms to support literacy and foster a love of reading.
Fountain City Elementary PTO
Fountain City Elementary is supported by a strong network of parent and community organizations through the FCE PTO, a group dedicated to raising funds to strengthen academics and the arts.
